- The Latah County Library District has a proud history of library service. The Foundation seeks to ensure that library service to patrons remains vital and relevant into the future.
- The Foundation assists all district libraries in their efforts to seek grant funding on a local, regional, or national level. These grants may focus on enhancements to technology, program enrichment, or building improvements.
- The Foundation offers donors the opportunity to direct their resources for the benefit of a specific library or program if they so desire.
- The Foundation encourages donations that will strengthen the future of the Latah County Library District.
- The Foundation manages its reserve through prudent and conservative investments with a focus on long-term development for the Latah County Library District.
Current funding level
Currently the Latah County Library Foundation's endowment has a value of roughly $185,000. Help us reach our starting goal of $300,000! Every donation helps!
How You Can Help?
Please contact the foundation if you'd like to make a donation or volunteer.
There are many ways to donate:
- Donate cash, bonds, stocks, mutual funds, or real estate.
- Deferred Gift: Name the foundation as a beneficiary of life insurance, IRAs, annuities, and other retirement accounts.
- Bequest: Name the Latah County Library District Foundation as a beneficiary of your will or trust account.
- Charitable Trust: Transfer assets into a trust that can pay you or your heirs income for life. Upon death the asset is transferred to the Latah County Library District Foundation.
Volunteer
- From time to time we create ad hoc committees on which we need your talents as volunteers.
- Please let us know if you would be interested in serving in such a position to help move the Foundation forward in its mission.
